Cheryl Sharp

Cheryl Sharp holds a graduate certificate in classical performance from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, a Master of Arts degree from New York University and Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Augustine’s College. Cheryl is busy with her time between performances with the Virginia Opera-Carmen, Susannah, Cavalleria Rusticana, I Pagliacci, Eugene Onegin, Lucia di Lammeroor, writing screenplays and puppet acts.

As a classically drained dancer, with credits and education including the Alvin Ailey Certificate Program, New Dance Group-Broadway Dance, Stage Combat, Historical Dance, Mirashayama Music Tours, Of Heroes and Human Rights with the Virginia Symphony, various concert dance performances, Something About the Music-a PBS TV-Emmy Award winning production of dance, and choreography for the Virginia Stage Company’s production of The Wedding Band.
