A cradle Episcopalian, Melanie Denise was active in St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Purley-on-Thames, including singing in the church choir and serving as a member of the Parish Church Council. She returned to the United States with her son in 2006, and has since been an active member of the church and choir at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Williamsburg. A dramatic mezzosoprano, she has studied opera over the past year with a private instructor at the College of William & Mary. This is her first time appearing on stage since her return to America.
